This is an unedited record of a conversation between Ahilan Ratnamohan and Stanislav Shuripa, recorded during their participation in Topos 3, in Antwerp in 2022.

During the interview, Ahilan who is a performance maker, and participant of TOPOS 3: On Mobilization, interviews one of the founders of The Agency of Singular Investigations: Stanislav Shuripa.

The interview explores how the agency has come to its existence and how he would describe its essence to someone who’s not familiar with their research.

Beyond the research platform he shares with his colleague and partner Anna Titova, Stanislav also highlights what it’s like to move within Russia’s contemporary art scene, keeping in mind the current socio-political climate which to Stanislav adds a layer of shame he’s struggling to navigate.
